Sitting at the junction between Missoula, Thompson Falls and St. Ignatius, Ravalli greets travelers navigating their way through Western Montana. As you drive north on Highway 93, passing Ravalli and cresting Ravalli Hill, you’re greeted with an unforgettable, jaw-dropping view of the Mission Mountains. The rest area at the top of the hill provides a place to be stopped in your tracks, and gaze in awe. Ravalli is close to several notable area attractions, including the Bison Range—one of the oldest wildlife refuges in the nation—as well as the St. Ignatius Mission. An added bonus: A local bakery in Ravalli that is rumored to have the best doughnuts in the West.
