Discover the rich history and stories of conservation in America. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to collecting, preserving and sharing the history of the U.S. Forest Service and its many conservation partners. Enjoy events, a gift shop and a walking trail with interpretive signage, a replica L4 fire lookout and a P2V tanker plane. The Museum also has many online and traveling exhibits. Open seasonally from the Friday before Memorial Day to the Tuesday after Labor Day. Construction is planned to start in 2024 for the National Conservation Legacy Center, with a 2025 opening.
