Whitefish Mountain Resort's Annual Presidents Weekend Torchlight Parade and Fireworks is Saturday, February 17

Come up and watch the parade and fireworks on this bustling ski weekend! You can also participate in the Torchlight, see below for details.

The Torchlight Parade and Fireworks will begin at 7:00pm, just outside of Ed and Mully’s in the Upper Village (3905 Big Mountain Road). The fireworks display will begin at the end of the Torchlight Parade.

Spectators are encouraged to assemble at the bottom of Ed’s Run, near Ed & Mully’s Restaurant.

Night Skiing on Chair 2 will close from 6:30 - 7:30pm for the Torchlight and Fireworks. Chairs 3 and 6 will remain open.

President's Day Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Schedule

6:15pm - All torchlight participants meet at the bottom of Chair 2
6:30pm - 7:30pm – Chair 2 Night Ski Closure for Torchlight Parade and Fireworks.
6:30pm – Torchlight participants load Chair 2 (must be pre-registered)
7:00pm – Torchlight & Fireworks
7:30pm – Night Skiing Resumes
Chair 6 & 3 remain operating during the Chair 2 closure.

If you would like to participate in the Torchlight Parade, please follow these instructions:

To Register:
-You must register online by 4:30pm on the day of the torchlight, be an intermediate or expert skier or snowboarder, and must be at least 8 years old. If you are under the age of 12, we ask that a parent/guardian sign up with them and accompany them.

To Participate:
-A lift ticket or season pass is required.
-Arrive at the bottom of Chair 2 no later than 5:15pm.
-Meet our amazing Ski and Ride School staff who lead the torchlight, load the chair, get your torches, and ski down Ed’s Run.
-Low-visibility goggles, helmet, and outerwear you don’t mind getting dirty on are highly recommended.
