Description:

Known for his profound lyricism and masterful guitar work, Cockburn has been a driving force in the folk music scene since his 1970 self-titled debut album. Over his remarkable career, Cockburn has released 38 albums and penned more than 350 songs, many of which have achieved gold or platinum status in Canada.

With over a million albums sold in his home country, his contributions to music have earned him widespread acclaim, including prestigious honors like the 2018 Juno Award for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year for Bone on Bone.

In addition, Cockburn has been recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award from SOCAN, a People’s Voice Award from Folk Alliance International, and an induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017.
