Where:
Stanton Lake
Park and Ride Jct Hwy 2 and 206 Northwest Montana, MT
Description:
Join us for a hike to the majestic Stanton Lake in the Great Bear Wilderness. This classic winter stroll in the snout of the Great Bear will take us through dense, towering forests. At the lake, awe-inspiring views of Great Northern Mountain and its long glacier-carved cirque await us. It’s a big payoff for a relatively short hike, rivaling some of the best, harder-to-reach views in nearby Glacier National Park.
