Description:
Rescheduled from this March: Bumble bees are the pandas of the insect world—charismatic, a little clumsy, and facing real conservation challenges. Michelle Toshack is a Livingston-based conservation biologist with the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, where she works with community scientists to conserve Montana’s wild bumble bees. She holds a master’s degree in pollination ecology and has spent her career building community-powered conservation programs across North America.
